Easter is one of my favorite times of the year! I’m especially excited that it’s a little later in April this year in hopes that it means we will have beautiful weather. And of course, everything is even more exciting with a toddler! Millie has been reading her Easter books and playing with eggs for the past month. Needless to say, she’s ready for the bunny to visit!

Fun Easter Activities for Kids

Last weekend I put together a fun and free Easter activity to do with Millie. I wrote out some fun Easter-themed activities (hop like a bunny, toss plastic eggs into a basket, etc.) and placed each activity in a plastic egg. Then, we had an Easter egg hunt and Millie performed each activity after she found all of the eggs. It was so simple and easy and she had so much fun! We’ve already repeated this same activity multiple times this week. Not only does she love doing the fun actions at the end, but of course she loves searching for the eggs! I created this Free Easter Activity Printable with the actions already written out and so you can simply print, cut, and stuff into eggs. It’s a great activity for the weeks leading up to Easter, but it’s also a fun candy-free alternative to use on Easter day.

Classic Easter Clothing for Girls

Another part of Easter that I absolutely love is getting all dressed up! We always wear a pretty spring dress to church and brunch and then usually change into something more casual to visit with family during the Easter egg hunt. Here are some of my favorite classic Easter outfits for girls.

Easter Basket Gift Ideas for Toddlers

And last, but certainly not least, I have had so much fun choosing gifts to place in Millie’s Easter basket. Brent likes to joke that we go more overboard on Easter than we do for Christmas! It’s just so much fun putting together cute little toys and gifts for an Easter basket and seeing her face light up in the morning. Here are some of my favorite Easter basket gift ideas for toddlers.

Easter with Kids

Most importantly, I am so grateful for this family that God has blessed me with. There is so much to be thankful for on Easter and every day thanks to Him. Wishing you all a blessed Easter season!

Chocolate pb hearts with my sweetheart💕 SAVE th Chocolate pb hearts with my sweetheart💕 SAVE this recipe post!!

Millie and I made these yummy peanut butter chocolate hearts this weekend and if you can’t tell by the chocolate all over her face, they were a hit!!🤣

❤️Healthier Reese’s Hearts (GF, DF, EF)

2/3 c natural peanut butter
1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1/4 c almond flour
1 c dark chocolate (I used Hu gems)
1 tsp coconut oil

1. In a medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, almond flour & syrup.
2. Use your hands (or a rolling pin) to flatted dough on a pan. Use a heart cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes.
3. Freeze hearts for 30-60 min.
4. Melt the chocolate & coconut oil in microwave.
5. Using a fork, dip each heart in chocolate and then place on top of a pan covered with parchment paper. Drizzle any extra chocolate on top.
6. Freeze for another 30-60 min. Enjoy!
*Store in freezer for 3 months. Pop in fridge for a few minutes to soften before eating.
*Make them nut-free with sunbutter and by subbing almond flour with 2-3 tbsp coconut flour.

These Valentine’s treats gave us the perfect excuse to ignore Millie’s “no eating in bed rule” while wearing the sweetest heart pjs from @lakepajamas! The kids sizes are selling out, so don’t sleep on them (pun intended!)😘
